Then, we painstakingly harvest each pina by hand and choose only the finest for production. Our Reposado tequila is barrel aged for 8 months, creating an inviting aroma of citrus, spice, and stone fruit followed by the soft flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon, and a silky, warm finish. As a passionate entrepreneur, Don Julio González pioneered the distinct agricultural approach of planting blue agave further apart. Paired with the mineral-rich soils of the Highlands of Jalisco, this method encouraged larger growth and sweeter maturation of the agave to ensure the best-tasting tequila. To this day, the heart and essence of Don Julio remain distinct and represent a proud heritage behind every sip.

At 17 years old, Don Julio González starts his first distillery. Five years later, La Primavera distillery is built in his hometown of Atotonilco el Alto in the Los Altos region of Mexico.

Don Julio Reposado Paloma

Ingredients:        
  • 1.5 oz. Don Julio Reposado        
  • 0.75 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice        
  • 0.5 oz. Fresh lime juice       
  • 0.5 oz. Agave nectar        
  • 3 oz. Club soda             
  • Grapefruit slice garnish 
 Instructions: 
  1.  Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. 
  2.  Shake and strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice. 
  3.  Garnish with grapefruit slice and enjoy!      

Don Julio Reposado Limonada Tea

Ingredients:        
  • 1.5 oz. Don Julio Reposado        
  • 0.5 oz. Agave nectar        
  • 0.75 oz. Fresh lemon juice        
  • 1 oz. Strong black tea        
  • Lemon wheel garnish 
 Instructions: 
  1.  Add all ingredients to Collins or High Ball glass with ice. 
  2.  Gently stir. 
  3.  Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy!
