ORIGINS: The Reverend Elijah Craig is credited with being the first distiller to age his whiskey in charred oak barrels: a practice that is now mandatory for all Bourbons. Today, each bottle of Elijah Craig is crafted using the same methods developed by the Father of Bourbon over two hundred years ago: local corn and grains are milled and mixed with limestone-rich Kentucky spring water, then fermented and distilled. After years of aging in charred oak, the Master Distillers at Elijah Craig select the most complex barrels for their Small Batch Bourbon. Rich history and craftsmanship can be savored in every sip.

The Old Fashioned

Our signature cocktail is made for those who strive for the best: in themselves, and in their glass.
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 oz. Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
  • .25 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 3 dashes of Bitters
  • Orange Swath
  • Brandied Cherry (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
In a mixing glass, add bitters, simple syrup, Elijah Craig Small Batch, and ice. Stir until well chilled. Strain cocktail over a large ice cube in a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a brandied cherry and swath of orange.
For a spicier taste, try it with Elijah Craig Straight Rye Whiskey.

Boulevardier

Skip the mimosas, mix up your brunch with this elegant Bourbon cocktail.
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 oz. Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 1 Orange twist (garnish)

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine Bourbon, sweet vermouth, and Campari in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 10 seconds. Strain and pour over a large clear ice cube. Express orange peel over glass and use as garnish.

New Yorker Sour

Keep things interesting, add this twist on an old classic to your next date night.
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 oz. Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
  • .75 oz. Simple Syrup
  • 1 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • 1 oz. Dry Red Wine

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients except red wine in a mixing glass, first shake without ice, then add ice and shake again. Fill a rocks glass with ice. Strain cocktail into glass. Float red wine on top.
